Fun skiing game
We ski is a fun skiing game that lets you explore the mountain, run races, and find clues along the way. It almost feels like you're really skiing. I don't have the balance board, so I just use the Wii nunchuk and controller. I'm sure it's more realistic with the balance board. It's nice you can use your own Mii, or create a character in the game. The game is more fun if you play with more than one person. I haven't tried any other skiing game for the Wii, so not sure how it compares to others. But this one is pretty good.

hard to figure out with no hints. awful.
I've had this for two weeks. for the life of me, I CANNOT GET ON THE SKI LIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT ALL. So therefore, you can't really play much of the game after the first run from off of the lift. it really PIS**ES me off. Just an FYI. UGH. I just keep on crashing into stuff, instead of being able to play more, so my time is limited to just a few minutes. It is so disgusting, I want to throw it across the room. If you know someone who knows everything already, i'm sure it's fine. but the fact that they don't tell you anything along the way is DISGUSTING. I am so PO'ed. Usually the Wii sports, etc, has hints that help you out. oh no, not this. good luck. It was a blast until I got to the bottom of the hill and had no idea how to get on the ski lift.

More talking than skiing, kinda boring!
This was highly recommended and pricey so we bought it...then we realized the entire way to play this game is you have to talk to people and go on wild goose chases rather than actually ski! I'm bored with it already after 2 nights of play. Not a long lasting game, sadly.

Fun Play for the Kids
We got this game for our kids at Christmas, it entertains them for hours, we have to make them get off and do other things. They enjoy the freestyle mode where players are able to explore the ski resort and engage in conversation with the characters at the resort as well as play games.

Wii We Ski
My kids loved this game. I bought it for the balance board, but you don't need the board to play this. They learned to play it without the board, because it hadn't arrived yet, and when the board did arrive, I think they thought it easier to play without it. There was no advantage to using the board. The only thing they didn't like was when playing with two people, if one stops to talk to someone, the other's gameplay stops too, even if they were in the middle of something. Then they both have to do what the person asked of the one. If you don't stop to talk, then the game plays with each doing their own thing.
